The latest DATATIME module - PopUp^PDA - is available for use on any Personal Digital Assistant (PDA)* running the Microsoft^® PocketPC^® operating system.

PopUp^PDA on your PDA is a fully featured, stylus driven* version of the DATATIME PopUp^PLUS module with full time record entry, search, pause, resume and editing facilities just like you are used to on your personal computer and which includes the ability to record disbursements and notes.

Used in combination with the PC-PDA Toolbox**, a powerful suite of supporting software routines we have developed to enhance the link between PDA devices and our systems, you can be sure that the applications and supporting data files loaded onto your PDA are always up to date and that PopUp^PDA on your PDA will download your time transactions straight into DATATIME ready for confirmation. The PC-PDA toolbox software is an integral part of  PopUp^PDA and is supplied at no additional cost.

The growth in the power and capabilities of PDAs - making them, for many users, a realistic alternative to full specification notebook PCs - means that many of our DATATIME users are already considering putting these increasingly indispensable devices to work in their daily routine.

Many users now rely on office products like Microsoft^® Outlook^® for their diary, email and contact lists. The ability to automatically and very simply synchronise the information on a PDA with that in their main office system adds to the attractiveness and utility of these increasingly popular personal digital assistants.

PopUp^PDA will be particularly attractive to people who spend large parts of their working day out of the office, possibly already using a PDA to access other computer applications and databases. The increasing degree of connectability built into PDAs - including Bluetooth, WiFi, multi-band mobile phone and IrDA infra red - means that the data you are carrying around with you can be constantly updated and email and SMS messages arrive at your PDA in the same time they take to get to your network connected office PC.

PopUp^PDA does not rely on barcodes and will prove invaluable to those users looking to reduce the need to carry paper files, manual diary and address book etc.

PopUp^PDA can be used in conjunction with the other forms of data capture that DATATIME supports (PopUp^SDIO, C-Pens, direct PC entry via PopUp^PLUS and manual timesheets) providing professional staff with an easy to use and flexible time recording solution.
