SOPHCO SYSTEMS has been established for over 20 years and during that time has carried out a wide range of systems development projects for clients in the commercial, public and not-for-profit sectors. Our experience covers both traditional data processing systems development assignments and current web orientated and thin client technologies.
We are happy to provide resources as main contractors or as partners to other systems integrators and we can provide senior project management experience to support our extensive programming skills.
As well as providing systems development resources we are actively involved in undertaking systems development and maintenance support contracts for clients dependent on systems for which they no longer have in-house support resources or who are running systems which were supplied by two or more third parties who can no longer offer support for their own product component or, alternatively, for which a client wishes to acquire one-stop support for the entire system.
Our web based systems development assignments and associated activities have provided us with extensive and practical experience in "gluing" the various parts of web based systems together deploying ASP and JavaScript as well as html components as appropriate to the business requirements being addressed. Our experience has led us to develop a full and comprehensive understanding of the entire web world including peripheral but vital aspects such as domain management, hosting security and website maintenance and migration.
We also offer software maintenance where software needs updating or a problem needs fixing. Our languages skills include C#, VB.NET, VB6, VBScript, C and SQL.
